Istanbul Restaurant in Nuremberg

We had ordered the breakfast menu once. It was expensive. Lots of bread to get full and no sucuk. Only after we asked, did we get grilled vegetables as "substitutes". Not recommendable. At least not for breakfast.

Actually good food, BUT: The waiter who works there on the weekend, with a headscarf like Jack "the Sparrow, is absolute madness. We were there twice, both had high bills (over € 100), the food was always mixed up. In veget. The meal was meat, and he yelled at us too. Once and never again. Service is not understood here.

We saw a huge kebab skewer in the morning and thought the shop must be good if it consumes such a huge skewer every day. In the evening we went there and ate there, unfortunately the service and the food was really bad. The spit was still as full as it was in the morning, what do you do with the rest?

We went here for breakfast. That was very tasty Turkish breakfast. Everything was freshly prepared with freshly baked flatbread, including aromatic tea and Turkish hospitality. What else do you wish for on Friday morning. ??

Worst doner kebab in town. Meat tough and fatty, bread far too soft, sauce mediocre. Unfortunately, it's always a letdown in terms of quality. Unfortunately, there aren't many alternatives in the area.

I ordered rice ?, however I got French fries ?. They promised to bring rice, however I never got. Afterwards it was even not possible to pay with card. However it’s written at the door.

Long waiting times: I had to organize the menu card myself. I also had to ask for the starter bread. Service does not write down the orders and then brings an incorrect order. The food was cold and not really good. The staff made an overwhelmed impression. No children's dishes on the menu and inflexible with "special requests" for the kids.

DÖNER WAS MOLDED! Yesterday we got falafel and a kebab. Unfortunately, only noticed when eating that the kebab is worse. Absolute juice store, the health department will be sent there.

For a foreigner that come from Indonesia, I feel a different taste that I should learning, but I should say not bad at all. This restaurant provide waiter for English and German which will be great for tourist whom cannot speak German language. Owner are also very friendly, my friends and me had very great service. It made me forgot how the smoke from the grill made my jacket smell like kebab ? Price is reasonable and comes with German style portion which is too much for most Asian Ich habe eine sehr gut Erfahrung hier gehabt! Gerne hier wider kommen. Super!

As usually food is always delightful, let down this time with the attitude of the servers .. really rude and unfriendly .. I wish they improve on this ! Else they will loose a customer ..

Best place in town

Restaurant was open late into the night and early morning so that's why we ate here. We were the ONLY PEOPLE restaurant and it took 45+ minutes to get our food out. The tripe soup was REALLY good, the food was very refreshing and delicious as well, 4 stars due to wait time but the food quality was worth it.

Food is normal and I believe it’s bit overpriced just because of the location not because of food taste or quality. Just order traditional Kabbab because Turkish can not go wrong with it.

I got myself a Turkish pizza which was really tasty. The price was also completely normal. The restaurant is on my brief look very clean and the staff were very nice. I'm back in Nuremberg and would like to meet a Turkish pizza, I'm very much again.

This little joint directly near Nuremberg train station never ever disappoints. It offers some of the tastiest and most authentic Turkish food you can ever eat. From the outside, it almost looks like a hole in the wall place, but boy is the food stunning! The staff are pretty untrained, but friendly and respectful. The vegetarian dishes are particularly yummy. There's outdoor seating available during the summer months. Watch the Nuremberg bustle from the sidelines and enjoy a great Turkish meal here!
